Denver also added a stunning addition to its art museum, re-developed lower downtown which is the oldest section of Denver (LoDo) into a thriving community and it has a new light rail system.
Arapahoe County, Colorado was the first county in the state. When it was created, it actually stretched to the Kansas border, with Denver Colorado as its county seat. When Denver became its own county, the City of Littleton, Colorado became the new county seat. It still is currently one of the largest counties in the state.
Adams County School District #50 is for students living in the
City of Westminster. The district offers a wonderful Welcome Center for those new to the district.
Adams County School District 28J incorporates areas in both Adams and Arapahoe Counties. It is the 6th largest school district in the state. It serves the City of Aurora, Colorado.
Adams County School District Brighton 28J serves the City of Brighton, Colorado and the Town of Henderson, Colorado. It also serves parts of Weld County, Colorado.
Adams County Colorado School District #14 serves Commerce City, Colorado. Adams County 14 is dedicated to inspiring students to be successful in the 21st Century.
Adams County Colorado Five Star School District #12 encompasses the cities of Thorton, Northglenn and portions of Westminster, Federal Heights and Broomfield, Colorado.

Adams County Colorado is in the northeastern section of the Denver Colorado metropolitan area. The Adams County seat is Brighton, Colorado.
